In the spirit of spring's impending arrival and the forthcoming Passover cleaning ritual, bedikat chametz (the search for leaven),
92YTribeca Jewish life will celebrate a special wellness Shabbat with our friends from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.
Cynthia Neipris, L.AC (Licensed Acupuncturist), and David Thuroff, L.M.T (Licensed Massage Therapist), of the Pacific College of
Oriental Medicine will give us the lowdown on everything we need to know about oriental medicine and some quick and easy strategies
for relaxation. Then, Cynthia and David will guide the group in a special QiGong meditational practice to increase our mindfulness

science behind the famous ten plagues of Passover fame, and how other natural phenomena influenced the story of how the Jews escaped
from Egypt. Stick around afterwards for some new wave, "experimental" desserts. Whether you question the connections between science
and religion or believe that science can actually help us to deepen our understanding of the Torah, this is the Shabbat for you!
